Housing Growth
We have a dynamic approach to pursuing new opportunities and partnerships for housing growth and we have grown significantly over the years through a range of mergers, stock transfers and acquisitions. To drive these opportunities we have an internal team dedicated to reviewing the market and networking with organisations who are looking for a potential partnership. Our criteria for housing group has been refined through experience and we now look for opportunities that will deliver financial value to both partners, that will deliver benefits to our customers and for businesses that have similar aspirations and business ethos.

Circle's inclusive Group structure means that housing associations are able to retain their own local structure and identity while benefiting considerably from membership of the Group.

To explore working in partnership with us please contact Glenn Allum, Project Manager, Business Growth on 01603 703818.

Development services
As Circle’s reputation as a Group which delivers has grown, so has the level of opportunities that have arisen for the Group to develop. These opportunities have been created both within the core area of activity for Circle and also outside where the Group does not have local management presence.

Part of the Group’s Development Strategy is based upon delivering local customer services and enhancing life chances. Circle will therefore look to work in partnership with other Registered Providers (RPs) and businesses to develop for others through providing Development Agency Services.

The aspirations of our Development Agency Services are to drive added value benefits through the development function for other RPs, whilst utilising the assets and capacity of other RPs to maximise the level of afford new homes that are being delivered.

We deliver these services on a “win-win” basis and will look to generate a fee income from the agency partner to again build the Group’s development capacity. If you are interested in developing and would like an information discussion about our services please contact Ian Taylor (tbc?)

Leaders in Mobility
House Exchange has been at the forefront of resident mobility since 2004. Developed by Circle partner Wherry to meet the mobility needs of its residents, the system was quickly adopted by other local landlords and the House Exchange partnership was born. Since then it has gone from strength to strength and we now provide services to around 300,000 customers and over 200 landlords. We are also proud founding members of the Government’s Homeswap Direct scheme.

As part of the Circle group, we understand the requirements of the sector and have designed House Exchange to meet the specific needs of landlords. House Exchange enables social landlords to become much more proactive in offering mutual exchange, promote their transfers, affordable rent and advertise their shared Ownership properties encouraging greater tenant mobility by tenants viewing all their housing options all in one place. House Exchange is a professional, efficient service that provides excellent value for money to landlords. We remain the only not for profit provider active in the market place.

We are looking for opportunities to work with other housing groups and local authorities to advise you on your mobility strategies and are open to opportunities to promote our service and to demonstrate thought leadership.
